Last weekend's cancelled home  fixture v Vickerstown has been re arranged for Bank Holiday Monday 6th April at 3pm. Lets hope the weather doesn't beat us this week, and come down to cheer on the lads for which is the last home game of the season where they know only 3 points will do.

The Eagles first team entertain Vickerstown for their final home game of the campaign at 3pm on Saturday. They go into the game needing points to stave off relegation with Whaley welcoming back the suspended Jack Horan. He has no new injury worries ahead of the game and know points are a must!

The Eagles host Blackpool Wrens again on Saturday, this time in the West Lancs Premier league with a 3pm Kick Off. We will be hoping for a better  result after last week's 3 nil defeat. The only known absentee is Jack Horan who will sit out his last match in his 3 game suspension. Please come down to cheer the lads on!  

The first team crashed out of the second round of the  Richardson Cup on Saturday losing 3 nil at home to Blackpool Wrens. (see first team section for match report). Meanwhile our youth teams were outstanding, with the under 16's winning away at Leigh 6 nil putting them top of the league. And the under 15's also travelled away to Barr Hill where they too won uncannily by the same 6 nil scoreline! ...

The Eagles are at home this weekend to  Blackpool Wren Rovers in the second round of the Richardson Cup with a 3pm Kick Off. It will be a difficult game against the high flying seasiders who are sitting second in the table after a good season so far. Sadly most of Eagley's games  today were called off due to waterlogged pitches including the first team game at Vickerstown, so the cumbrian trip will have to be rearranged for another day. Meanwhile Eagley's under 13's braved the weather to record a  7-1 win over Brandlesholme, where every player had a great game to make the win so convincing.

      Eagley Sports Complex will be hosting its annual beer festival on the weekend of Friday the 20th March. There will be a variety of real ales to choose from all priced at 2 pounds a pint, with entry cost of five pounds on the door, and this will include a pint glass and a programme.
