Eagley Football Club have have appointed a new Reserve Team Duo in Brett Metcalfe (manager) and Gary Kay (assistant.)
Brett and Gary have joined the Eagles from the local Lancashire Amateur side Castle Hill, and are relishing the new challenge of the West Lancashire side. Both Brett and Gary are ex Eagley players, with good knowledge of the local football scene having also played at Turton, Stoneclough, Little lever and Tottington. They reshaped Castle Hill from the reserves then progressing to the first team, and are now both looking for the next step in their managerial careers.
Oli Clarke, and Craig Coote, last year’s Reserve Team gaffers have taken on a more coaching role and will be working with the first team along with Simon Whaley and Scott Derbyshire.
We catch up with Brett and Gary soon for an interview, but for now we wish them all the best with the role and the forthcoming season.
