The first team drew 2-2 over on the Blackpool coast on Saturday whilst the reserves went  down 3 nil at Poulton.

In the great Fylde sunshine the lads started very well and came close twice within minutes but again couldn’t make it count. That’s how it continued for 20 minutes until the wrens breached the Eagles defence and a clear shot which gave Billy Worthington no chance and Blackpool went in front. But this time instead of allowing their heads to drop they dug deep and Eagley’s Heath Ainscow went on a mazy run before being fouled in the box and awarded a penalty..He stepped up himself and a great strike for 1-1. That’s how it stayed until the interval where really Eagley should of been in front after the better half.

Second started much the same but the Wrens started to dominate and soon their pressure paid off as they went in front again  2-1. But again the Eagles Continued to battle and after some great work on the wing the new debutant Joe O’keefe smashed in the equaliser. Blackpool then piled on the pressure coming very close but after some magnificent defending Eagley hung on for a well deserved point, where they can be proud to share the points with a good Blackpool side.
