Neil Bebbington’s side took the points over neighbours Turton in the West Lancs league two reserve clash.

After the 1st team match with Lostock St Gerards was postponed due to incomplete pitch work, the second string Eagles were able to include a handful of the 1st team and it was also great to see midfielder Nick Haynes back on the pitch after recovering from  a hamstring injury.

It it was a pretty even first half and it wasn’t until the Eagles made a couple of half time changes that they began to play. Nathan Hatton made the breakthrough after 50 minutes and soon after it was 2 nil for the Eagles after a simple tap in. It then went to 3, and then the visitors got 1 back for 3 -1. Hatton then scored again for 4-1, until the Eagles gave a penalty away which Turton converted for the final score of 4-2.
