Scott Derbyshire’s side came out 4-3 winners against a tough Euxton Villa side, in yet another game of two halves!
Within minutes Eagley found themselves a goal down, but managed soon to get one back from Tim Berry. But more lapse defending allowed Euxton 2 more goals and before long we were 3.1 down. Ashley Watson then got one back to make it 3.2 at the interval.
But it was the second half display that won the Eagles the game. They dominated, and pushed, but just couldn’t get the equaliser until substitutions were made and Ashley Watson was there again for his second to make it all square.
Then with only minutes to spare Jack Horan was there again to fire in the winner for a much needed and deserved victory.
